With mass vaccination, there is always a place for diseases that are attributed to the consequences of an injection. So, in an interview with URA.RU, professor of the Gamaleya Center, virologist Anatoly Altstein dispelled rumors about serious side effects of vaccination against COVID-19.
“When there is a massive medical impact on people, no one has canceled the usual pathology that people always have. And people take what happens to them for the effect of the vaccine, ”he said.
The specialist stressed that vaccination is also unlikely to lead to severe mental disorders, including dementia. According to him, what happens after the vaccination “would have happened anyway”, and if a person has doubts about this, the issue should be considered by a medical commission.
Professor and virologist Alexei Agranovsky also expressed doubt that after an injection a person may develop dementia: he stressed that this phenomenon is not among the previously identified complications and side effects.
On July 11, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Bionanotechnology, Microbiology and Virology at Novosibirsk State University, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Netesov advised Russians to forget about “chipping” and urged them to be vaccinated. Netesov assured that vaccines and masks help contain the spread of the coronavirus.
