VIDEO. There is a series of accidents on the Siglo XXI highway, in Michoacán

Michoacan.- Three vehicle accidents the this Friday afternoon in it road section from Uruapan to Lázaro Cárdenasin which several people were injured.

Furthermore, the material losses they were very powerfulaccording to the news website Última Hora UPN (Uruapan).

First case

As the 3:00 p.m.at kilometer 292, shortly before reaching the port of Lázaro Cárdenas, a van and a truck collided, and both units overturned. Apparently it was all due to speeding.

The drivers of the units resulted injured and were helped by local paramedics.

Second

Around the 5:00 p.m.at kilometer 114, between the Taretan toll booth and the town of La Purísima, three heavy units (load) collided and set firealthough fortunately the drivers they just suffered injuries.

Firefighters locals worked hard, for several minutes, to control the intense fire that was unleashed.

Third

Two people were left seriously injured when two trucks collided head-on, this at kilometer 247, near the access to the town of Infiernillo.

Authorities

In the three cases, personnel from the National Guard Highway and Facilities Safety Division carried out road work and requested the support of cranes to remove the damaged units to a corralón.

The Uruapan-Lázaro Cárdenas highway remained closed to road traffic for several hours due to the accidents.
