When they thought they were safe and were walking calmly down the street, the police got their hands on them. Three men were arrested last night in Malaga after an intense nocturnal pursuit by land and air, in which they were able to avoid the patrol cars that were on their heels, but not the Condor, the National Police helicopter that had them in its sights at all times. The suspects drove at full speed on the A-7, between Mijas and Estepona, overtaking on the right and “putting traffic safety and other road users at risk.” The car of those now detained left the highway in the population center of Calahonda, in Mijas, where its occupants got out with large bags and began to walk carelessly. Finally, a few meters from where they had left the car, the suspects were arrested. In the bags they carried 6,845 euros in cash, whose origin is not clarified in the note released by the police. A video recorded from the helicopter with a night vision camera shows the hectic pursuit and capture.
