The couple had just withdrawn money from a bank when they were robbed by two men.

Insecurity on the streets is a problem that affects everyone regardless of their age. The violent robbery of an elderly couple in the Las Condes sector, in the capital of Chileis proof of that.

The couple had just withdrawn 4 million Chilean pesos (about 20 million Colombian pesos) from a bank when they were robbed by two men on a motorcycle and took all the money.

The violent robbery was registered in security cameras of the sector. In the recording you can see the couple on a street corner waiting for a traffic light to change light to cross, meanwhile, the men approached.

The criminals attacked the older adults, who were dragged along the ground while pulling the backpack that the woman had on her back. One of the assailants took out a firearm to intimidate the victims and hit the man on the head with it.

The two men were picked up on a motorcycle by another accomplice and fled. The fact is being investigated by the authorities of that country.
