Mexico City.- A group of hooded young people confronted police in front of the old City Hall building in Mexico City’s Zócalo.
The members of the so-called black bloc threw stones and explosive devices at the uniformed officers.
In response, the agents responded by throwing powder from fire extinguishers. Throughout the march commemorating October 2, the hooded men sprayed paint and vandalized businesses.
Likewise, they caused damage to facilities at the Postal Palace and the Bank of Mexico.
Previously, a group of hooded men burned the Tlatelolco Metro ticket office.
