Ciudad Juárez— Workers from the Hermer company, one of the four that provide garbage collection services in the city, stopped work this morning.
They allege wage cuts, the sale of gloves and equipment for the proper provision of the service, as well as mistreatment by the general supervisor and for this reason they decided not to go to work today, on the shift that was supposed to start at 04:00 hours.
They drove a truck through the building used to store garbage collection trucks, located on Reforma and Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera streets, where several altercations occurred.
They ask Mayor Cruz Pérez Cuéllar to intervene with the owners of the company and solve the problems.
