The family of a coronavirus victim fulfilled one of his wishes and threw his ashes into the sky through fireworks. Donna Coleman, 42, used to tell friends and relatives that she wanted her remains scattered by the unusual method if anything happened to her. When she sadly died after a battle with the deadly coronavirus, her family made sure her wish came true.

Last Sunday, on Halloween, his friends and family gathered for the special fireworks ceremony in England. University professor Donna passed away on Jan. 6 at the height of the pandemic, when meetings of six or more people were banned, making the memorial impossible to organize at the time.
As restrictions were lifted, Stephanie and her family researched how they could spread her ashes in this unique way. Then they found a company that would supply the fireworks and take care of the preparations.
Donna’s ashes were thrown into the sky during a five-minute exhibition, which was watched by 150 friends, family and colleagues on 31 October. As fireworks lit up the night sky, Janet Jackson’s song ‘Together Again’ played in the background, which had special meaning for the honoree.
