A 53-year-old man died on Wednesday after the shooting incident at the Parnassia mental health institution in The Hague, the police reported. Wednesday morning. He and a woman (36) were seriously injured Monday in violence in the institution from a 67-year-old man.
It is unclear how the suspect obtained his weapon, which was in the car next to him. Police report that his license was revoked in January this year, after which his weapon and ammunition were seized.
The suspect fled and was found seriously injured in a car shortly afterwards. CPR was to no avail. According to the police, the suspect took his own life.
