Likewise, at the proposal of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee, it was unanimously agreed to appoint María Teresa Garrido Martín as president, director since February 2020.
The new president, as detailed by the company, has a degree in Economics and Business Sciences from the University of Valladolid and began as an audit professional at the consulting firm KPMG, developing her work in different categories and directing the Special Bullion delegation in Castilla y León. . In addition, Garrido Martín is a sworn accountant, while he was the first woman in the Institute of Accountants of Castilla y León.
Likewise, the new president is a Member of the Official Registry of Account Auditors (ROAC), as well as an expert in accounting regulations and knowledgeable about the regulations issued by the Institute of Accounting and Auditing of Accounts (ICAC). On the other hand, the company has indicated that Garrido Martín has also developed his professional activity on his own, working with different offices for companies from all sectors and participating in the tasks of the General Council of Economists of Spain.
