Mazatlan.- Taking advantage of the conditions and climate offered by the port at the moment, the Venados Basketball team carried out a morning training session on the beaches of Mazatlan, in what was their second day of the preseason prior to the start of Cibacopa.

The group of the reds worked on the physical conditioning of the foreigners on the beach, to reach the top at the beginning of the 2022 season, when they face Caballeros de Culiacán, on April 1.
The assistant coach, Brian Semonian, was in charge of putting the players to the limit, and spoke a little about what has been done these days.
This morning has been a great opportunity to use the beach for training. The beach is always better for two things: for endurance, which is to improve cardiovascular issues, and for the same body work, back, knees and legs. Here it is possible to train more intensely and have the same impact”, said Semonian.

At night, the Venados returned to practice on the court of the Lobodome, where the offensive fundamentals were basic.

In night practice we focus on working offensively, defensively, on strategy. We’re going to have our first intersquad game on Saturday, so we need to be ready tactically and technically on the floor, so that’s what we work on in night practice,” Semionan said.
