Luc (13) and Beau (10) still bear the marks of the huge explosion that took place almost two weeks ago. Luc’s arms and hands are completely bandaged. The burns are clearly visible on his face and on his head. Beau also has burns, but he can use his hands again.
They are called ‘Bikkels’ in the hospital, says mother Judith: “They are really tough guys.” They were in a lot of pain, especially in the first few days after the explosion. ,,But now only my right arm hurts,’ says Luc.
