Colombian striker Radamel Falcao, who is recovering from a muscle injury, will not play this league matchday with Rayo Vallecano against his former team, Atlético de Madrid, after being all week without training with the group.
Falcao, who has suffered a small muscle injury for three weeks, is still out of the group and his return is pending improvement of the discomfort that has kept him out of play since February 26 against Real Madrid.

This muscular injury suffered by the Colombian has already prevented him from playing in the second leg of the semifinals of the Copa del Rey against Betis and the last two league games against Cádiz and Sevilla.
It will also prevent him from playing a special match against Atlético de Madrid, the club in which he played for two seasons, from 2011 to 2013, and with which he scored 70 goals in 91 games.
Falcao, who has not scored in twelve games, has played 20 official games with Rayo this season, eight as a starter, and has scored five goals.
