Valkeakoski an 18-year-old man suspected of murder will stand trial in Tampere on Wednesday, when the district court of Pirkanmaa processes his imprisonment.
The man entered the hall under police guard and covered his face with a t-shirt and a newspaper. The man bumped into the tables for a while, when the police directed the suspect, who had been walking blindly, to his place. The treatment was public for about two minutes, when the media was allowed to photograph the man. The proceedings were then declared secret. He didn’t say anything.
The man was wearing a black hoodie and black sweatpants. The head of the investigation was also present Jari Kinnunen.
There was also a large number of Finnish media, i.e. photographers and journalists.
Detention sessions are usually short. This too, because only an hour was allotted for it. The basis of the decision is always secret, especially when it comes to a suspected sexual crime.
The district court will probably announce its decision in the near future.

The girl’s friends found the girl’s body on Saturday morning in the woods between Naaka and Laiska neighborhoods. On Sunday evening, the police arrested a local man with a previous criminal record.
