Valeria Graci and otosclerosis: what is ear disorder and how is it recognized?
The otosclerosis that struck the woman, mother of Pierluigi, now 11 years old, born from the relationship with her ex partner, is a localized dystrophic pathology of the labyrinthine bone capsule, which usually occurs in both ears.
It is the first cause of acquired deafness (hearing loss). The main symptom is hearing loss, which can provoke progressive deafness. The process speeds up during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is also characterized by tinnitus, but not vertigo, otorrhea and ear pain.
