Valencia and Levante have requested LaLiga to postpone the two championship matches scheduled for this weekend. Given the situation suffered by DANA, both clubs (from the province of Valencia, the most affected by the storm) have urged the employers to request this measure from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), something to which the organization chaired by Javier Tebas has agreed. In a statement, the Valencian team points out that “only a week has passed since the catastrophe occurred and the situation is still very serious.”
The team that visits, as scheduled, Espanyol on matchday 13 of the league. The match is scheduled for Saturday the 9th at 6:30 p.m., but due to this request it could be postponed. For its part, the Granota team had to travel to Tenerife to play the match corresponding to the 14th round of LaLiga Hypermotion on Sunday the 10th at 6:30 p.m.
If they were postponed, it would be the second day of the League in which this measure is taken with the Valencia and Levante matches.
If the RFEF agrees to this request, the postponement of these duels would be added to those that were already suspended the previous day, as is the case of Valencia-Real Madrid and Levante-Málaga. The Copa del Rey matches between Parla Escuela and Valencia (November 26), Pontevedra-Levante (November 19) and Manises-Getafe (November 26) have also been postponed for the second consecutive week.
