Specialists of the Rospotrebnadzor hotline on the prevention of influenza in Russia most often answered questions about influenza vaccinations and contraindications. This was reported on Monday, November 1 at website departments.
In the period from 4 to 15 October, specialists conducted more than 68 thousand consultations. Most often, Russians were interested in contraindications, preparation, and also points of influenza vaccination.

Eight thousand reports were received about influenza vaccines, their composition and compatibility with other vaccines, their effectiveness, manufacturers, and their availability in medical organizations. Also, about eight thousand questions related to non-specific prevention of influenza and ARVI.
In addition, experts answered questions about the use of masks. 2.7 thousand requests were related to antiviral drugs and their availability in pharmacies.
On October 27, an immunologist, specialist in especially dangerous infections Vladislav Zhemchugov told Izvestia about the rules for the joint administration of vaccines against coronavirus and influenza. According to him, these vaccine preparations need to be injected with different syringes and in different parts of the body.
Earlier that day, the Russian Ministry of Health approved the simultaneous use of the Sputnik Light coronavirus vaccine and the influenza vaccine. Corresponding changes were made to the instructions for the drug.
