The United States Senate approved on Wednesday (8) a resolution to nullify a rule by the government of President Joe Biden for companies in the country with one hundred or more employees to demand that they be vaccinated against Covid-19 or undergo tests weekly.

The vote had 52 votes in favor of the resolution and 48 against. The matter now goes to the House of Representatives, where Biden’s Democrats have a majority. Regardless of the process in the US Congress, the rule, whose requirements would come into effect on January 4, was suspended by the US court.
