US Federal Aviation Administration to fine SpaceX
The US Federal Aviation Administration has announced plans to fine SpaceX a total of more than $633,000 for two launch license violations in June and July 2023. reports SpaceNews edition.
The successful launches involved the Satria-1 and Jupiter-3 spacecraft. In the first case, the company asked the regulator for approval to use a new control center to conduct the launch. In the second case, the company asked the regulator for permission to use a new rocket fuel storage tank. In both cases, SpaceX ignored the regulator’s decisions.
