Until Dawn 2 will happen: the actor suggests it Peter Stormarewho in his Instagram stories relaunched a rumor published by a page dedicated exclusively to news related to the horror saga produced by Sony.
Apparently, the new endings added to the Until Dawn remakejust released on PC and PS5, would open the doors to a sequel which, however, has not yet been officially announced. Has the work already started? It’s probable at this point.
As you may know, Stormare plays the role of the Dr. Alan Hilla psychiatrist who appears between chapters of the Until Dawn campaign in order to analyze and discuss the decisions made by the player, as well as highlight his fears.
A somewhat complicated situation
Sony’s interest in Until Dawn is also and above all linked to the film, whose filming has just finished. Furthermore, Stormare resumes in the film the role he played in the game, that of Doctor Hill.
However, there are some doubts regarding the possible success of this operation, if we consider that Until Dawn has fewer players than Concord and has therefore scored a mediocre debut for a remake that, frankly, few felt the need for.
In our review of the Until Dawn remake we underlined the qualities of the adventure originally developed by Supermassive Games, which can still count on an interesting narrative segment and excellent slasher movie atmospheres.
At the same time, however, the new version is afflicted by some important technical problems, the new view is not better than the original and, in general, the project is a bit timeless.
