The State University of Milan inaugurates the new three-year degree course in Psychological Sciences for prevention and treatment, established in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. A clinical training course for an absolutely innovative professional figure, which responds to the increasingly pressing need for the care and support of patients and caregivers. The integration of psychological expertise in clinical contexts – reports a note – is a necessity now recognized in the most advanced reorganization models in the national healthcare system, and essential in areas such as, for example, oncology, hematology and neurology. Demonstrating the great interest received by the new degree course, there were approximately 1660 applications to participate in the entrance test.
To present the new degree course, its peculiarities and opportunities for students, a press conference will be held tomorrow, 8 October, at 11.30 in the Malliani room in via Festa del Perdono 7.
