From Finland two universities have entered the list of the 200 best universities in the international university comparison. It is the first time since 2020 that two universities from Finland are among the top 200 in the World University Rankings.
The University of Helsinki is tied for 107th place, which is 14 places higher than last year.
Aalto University entered the top 200 universities for the first time since 2020. Aalto University reached the shared 196th place.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings published on Wednesday includes just under 2,200 universities from 115 countries or regions around the world.
For the ninth year in a row, the British University of Oxford has taken first place. The US Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University are second and third.
Among the top ten universities are seven from the USA and three from the UK.
Among the Nordic universities, Sweden’s Karolinska Institutet fares best in the comparison, which entered the top 50 at number 49. A total of five universities from Sweden are among the top 200.
Times Higher Education is one of the most significant international university comparisons.
