United States Harvey Weinstein could not overturn new charges against him: a total of 11 rapists are charged with filming

The suspected new cases have occurred between 2004 and 2013.

Sexual offenses convicted film producer Harvey Weinstein an attempt to have some of the new charges against him dismissed has been rejected.

Weinstein’s legal team tried to dismiss three new charges of rape, citing the statute of limitations. However, Los Angeles court upheld all charges.

Weinstein, who had previously been sentenced to prison for several sexual offenses, is now charged with eleven new rapes.

The 11 new suspected cases have occurred between 2004 and 2013. There have been five women victims.

Weinstein himself has said he is innocent.

Producer Weinstein, 69 ,’s career ended in 2017 when she was revealed to have sexually harassed dozens of women working in the film industry for decades.

In February 2020, Weinstein was found guilty of sexual violence and rape. Some of the charges were dismissed.

In November 2020, Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison for sexual offenses.

Prior to his charges, the film producer was known for his hit films, for example Pulp Fiction and Falling in love with Shakespeare. In 2012, Time magazine named Weinstein one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
