United States FBI rides Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska’s homes in US – video shows authorities isolating Washington

The United States Federal police FBI has raided a Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaskan housing in Washington and New York.

According to the FBI, these are court-ordered actions, Reuters reports. He was the first to talk about it NBC News.

Deripaska belongs to the so-called oligarchs, which refer to politically influential Russian billionaires. U.S. officials say Deripaska is part of the president Vladimir Putin insiders.

Oil-enriched Deripaska was one of about 20 oligarchs and authorities sanctioned by the United States in 2018. Deripaska tried to legally lift the sanctions, but the lawsuit was dismissed in the summer.

Deripaska has been repeatedly denied a U.S. visa because he is suspected of having links to organized crime. Now Russia has granted Deripaska diplomatic status, which allows him to travel and be in the United States.
