United Russia got acquainted with the amendments that the government is making to the draft law on QR codes in public places. The party considers them correct, but considers the consideration of the document to be postponed. This was told by the Secretary of the General Council of “ER” Andrei Turchak, his quotes party press office.
He noted that the bill itself and amendments to it were being prepared in the context of the fourth wave of coronavirus associated with the spread of the delta strain. “Today we see what is happening all over the world. We can predict a certain development of events in this scenario – it is associated with a new strain of coronavirus infection omicron,” Turchak explained.
As the representative of the party emphasized, at present, one should concentrate on helping citizens: pensioners, people living alone, families with many children – all those whom ER has helped during the two years of the pandemic.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that the government, together with United Russia, decided to postpone consideration of the bill on covid certificates in the second reading in the State Duma due to the epidemiological situation in the country.
