The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced yesterday that more than half a million people are now displaced inside Lebanon, while Israeli warplanes launched new air strikes yesterday targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut.
The death toll related to the conflict has reportedly increased by 200% in the past two weeks, while the number of displaced people has risen by 385%.
Since September 23, Israel has intensified its missile attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.
