The British Minister of Health, Sajid Javid, tested positive for Covid-19 and has mild symptoms. He made it known himself in a tweet. “I am positive, I am waiting for the result of the molecular swab, but fortunately I am vaccinated and the symptoms are mild,” wrote Javid, appealing to all those who have not yet done so in the UK to get vaccinated.
Meanwhile, France requires the result of a test carried out less than 24 hours earlier for those who are not vaccinated and come from Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus and Greece. The measure will take effect at midnight on Sunday, Premier Jean Castex said in a statement. At present, those arriving from Great Britain must have a test conducted no less than 48 hours before and from other European countries 72, as required by the regulations for granting the Greenpass in force throughout the European Union.
