A homeless Parisian and an eight-year-old boy from Burkina Faso who does not speak French star in this drama that oscillates between fable and realism. Finding the mother of the little one will be the objective of the protagonist, whom the director Claus Drexel contemplates without judging her. “I feel deeply attached to the community of homeless people, who often end up being filmed disparagingly. I wanted to show her beauty, sensitivity and poetry, ”says the director. Hints of humor and a few urinary touches add to the delight of this update of ‘The Boy’ by Chaplin.
