Ayoub’s little brother, the suspect of seriously assaulting the victim, is released without charge despite being involved in the brutal fight that occurred this Wednesday
The Molina de Segura guard court decreed this Friday unconditional prison for attempted murder for Ayoub, the accused of stabbing a man with a machete last Wednesday after a fight in the streets of the municipality. In the violent confrontation in which José, the victim, suffered a serious cut that almost severed his hand, the suspect’s 23-year-old little brother is also involved, for whom they have been released without charge.
The brawl took place shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday. The confrontation began around 2:15 p.m. on Calle Triunfo de Molina de Segura, on the corner of Doctor Fleming. Witnesses indicated that the two young men approached the victim when she was accompanied by her partner in a local. One of them took out a large knife and stabbed him in the back, causing a large wound.
The 34-year-old man of Spanish nationality turned around and was hit again with the knife. To try to avoid it, he placed an arm to protect himself, but the edge of the machete severed part of his limb. Seriously injured, the affected man managed to snatch the knife from the aggressor and stab the attackers several times. As a result of the struggle, all three fell. The youths attacked the victim, who was held on the ground and punched several times while trying to stab him again.
At the moment, José is progressing favorably after having his hand replanted in a Madrid hospital, where he was transferred for surgery given the seriousness of the injuries. “He is stable, pained, but pulling forward like a champion,” confirms Sandra Lisón, the woman with whom the convalescent man shares a girl.
