The action film, also starring Mark Wahlberg, has been heavily criticized for how the characters have been portrayed and the adaptation of the story. According to what was reported by Variety, “Uncharted” had its premiere scheduled for this Friday, March 18 in the aforementioned country; however, its arrival in theaters was completely stopped due to one sequence in particular.

This line is the representation of an area in the South China Sea that includes territories claimed by China, but disputed by Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Although Vietnam is not a particularly definitive market in terms of success or failure for Sony, the specialized portal Screen Rant comments that the film has accumulated an average of US $ 278 million worldwide, and a ban in said territory could mean losses in at least 1 million dollars.
