A team that doesn’t know what it’s like to take the three points from Rodríguez López will visit Heliodoro. Leganés has been on nine occasions against the Tenerife green and the most they have added were five drawsbecause the remaining four duels ended in local victory.
Their two most recent visits ended 0-0. The one in December 2020 with the addition that José Luis Martí, the third coach with the most games in the history of Tenerife, was on the Madrid bench. The precedent to that, in October 2015, was much more bitter. The most significant thing was that the Blue and Whites played 1,400 games in Second.
Prior to this commitment, it was the one that was played in March of that same year and ended in a local victory by the minimum thanks to Maxi Pérez, who scored just before half-time. In the second half, the pepineros could have tied, but between the post and Dani Hernández they couldn’t.
To that 1-0 we must add February 2-1, 2013 with goals from Cristo Martín and Aridane and another 1-0 in November 2011 (in Second B) with goals from Jorge Perona. The first clash between the two was on May 14, 2000where the highlight was the debut as blue and white of the left-back Aridani and that those trained by Ángel Cappa played with ten throughout the second half.

In the promotion campaign with Rafa Benítez they also saw their faces in the stadium and on that occasion the duel with the most goals took place: 3-2 in 2001 thanks to the celebrations of Lussenhoff, Curro Torres and Pep Lluis Martí (Alex and Makukula scored for Lega).
