Sandra Cuevasmayor of Cuauhtémoc will continue to have the full support of the Union of Mayors of Mexico City (UNACDMX), assured the spokesman Adrian Rubalcavawhile stressing that the opposition will seek to reconcile the misunderstandings that have occurred with the Government of claudia sheinbaum.
Also, the mayor of Cuajimalpa highlighted this Thursday after an event in the demarcation that his counterpart in the Cuauhtemoc is doing a great job, and although they will seek a conciliation with the Government of Mexico City, they will not uncover it as opposition.
In this framework, he rejected that the UNACDMX plans to break with the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), by Omar García Harfuch, due to the accusations of two commanders against Cuevas, regarding which Rubalcava referred that none of the nine mayors of the alliance PAN-PRI-PRD is seeking to break with the Police, neither with its owner, nor with Sheinbaum.
“If there was a situation that could have rubbed our authority with a police command, we will be in the best position to reconcile,” highlighted the Cuajimalpa man, while pointing out that they should focus on giving good results, noting that it is good that Sheinbaum’s administration is so aware of what they do, “because they will realize that we are working and we are doing it honestly.”
And although he did not detail with what actions they will seek to improve the relationship with Sheinbaum, especially after the disagreements with Cuevas and with Lia Lemonthe mayor of Alvaro ObregonRubalcava stressed that they will continue to support Cuauhtémoc’s, currently immersed in two scandals.
everyone with their money
On the other hand, although he mentioned that they will seek to resolve the differences with the police commanders, such as the two who accuse Cuevas of deprivation of liberty, abuse of authority and theft, regarding the mayor’s second scandal, he stated that “if they are personal resourceseveryone can do with their personal resources what they consider”.

Similarly, on the subject of the plastic balls with bills attached to them that Cuevas threw at supporters on the esplanade of the Mayor’s Office, Rubalcava rejected that it was a populist act and, although he stressed that the local administration is very pending of what they do, she stressed that, when it is their own money, everyone can do what they want, although it is something that she will have to clarify.
