The United Nations on Friday expressed fears of another catastrophe in Myanmar, in response to reports that thousands of army troops are gathering in the north of the country. “We must all be prepared, as the people in this part of Myanmar are prepared, for more mass atrocities. I sincerely hope I am wrong,” said Tom Andrews, the UN rapporteur for Myanmar.
