Yesterday, 9 October, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi was interviewed by Mobile agents as a person informed of the facts in the context of the “Doppia Curva” investigation by the Milan DDA which beheaded the leaders of the two curves Milanese. A meeting that lasted less than an hour in which Inzaghi, who is not under investigation, had to clarify the details of the relationship that emerged with the Nerazzurri ultras leaders, now detained together with those of Milan.
As emerged in the investigating judge’s order which led to 19 arrests (three of which were under house arrest), among the many wiretaps there is one between Marco Ferdico, now former head of Inter’s Nord detained with the aggravating mafia charge, and the same Inzaghi: Ferdico called to intercede on the supply of tickets to be given to the Curva Nord for the 2023 Champions League final.
Simone Inzaghi β according to what Gazzetta dello Sport reports β specified, during the conversation he had with the investigators, that he did not feel threatened, that he had indeed been subjected to requests but not threats or intimidation. βIt was a clean and exhaustive testimony, he answered all the questions,β underlined an investigative source reported by the Adnkronos agency. Regarding the summit with the Inter ultras, in which Ferdico urged him to intercede with president Marotta to have more tickets for the Champions League final, Inzaghi explained that this dialogue was part of the typical relationships between the curve and the team. According to what was reconstructed in the order, Ferdico’s request to the coach was to “intervene with the club” to obtain more tickets. And from Inzaghi came “the promise” to intercede to satisfy the Curva Nord. Inzaghi answered all the questions comprehensively. Between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, Javier Zanetti, Nerazzurri vice-president, will also be heard.
