For the first time in the season, Patrick Michellier stood out in the CAVALLINO TRIDENTE Class of the Ultimate Cup, taking place at Magny Cours for the penultimate round of the 2024 season.
In the four GT Sprint races it was in fact the Ferrari prepared by the CMR team that dictated the law far and wide, with the Frenchman placing his 488 Challenge #73 in the overall Top5 and second among the UCS3 in the first outing, while Lyle Schofield had to retire after 10 laps with the SR&R 488.
In Race 2 the Italian team made a comeback thanks to Lourenço Monteiro, who jumped aboard the Maranello car #353, bringing it fifth to the finish line and second among the UCS3s, well ahead of Michellier himself.

The transalpine returned to have his say in Race 3, finishing seventh overall and still in second place UCS3, keeping the returning Schofield at a safe distance as the Irishman only stopped 11th overall.
Michellier completed the work in Race 4, where he obtained another second place in UCS3, seeing the checkered flag as sixth overall, while Monteiro did not start with the 488 #353 in what was effectively the most difficult weekend for SR&R.
For the record, in the GT Endurance Cup there was only the Ferrari #1 of the Visiom team entered with the Pagny/Bouvet/Halliday trio, who crossed the finish line second overall.
