AFP: Ukrainians in Warsaw who were refused a passport are dissatisfied with the authorities
Ukrainians in Warsaw who were refused a passport expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the authorities. This is reported by AFP.
Hundreds of Ukrainians expressed outrage at the decision of the Ukrainian representative office in Warsaw to stop work by order of the country's Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. Those gathered indicated that they were in Poland legally and submitted requests for documents in advance.
It is also noted that a group of unknown people blocked the entrance to the institution and interfered with the passage of citizens. “The state put me in a situation from which I have no way out. I think that our state is simply bringing people to the point that we all need to do this,” Ukrainian businessman Pavel Lyashenko told the agency.
On April 24, the Polish publication RMF24 reported that hundreds of Ukrainians were denied passports in Warsaw. At the checkpoint it was only possible to obtain permission to travel abroad.
