Captured Vodyan: in the DPR, a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers surrendered after an attack by a Ukrainian drone
Ukrainian fighters surrendered in Pervomaisky in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) after they were attacked by a kamikaze drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). About it RIA News Prisoner Yuri Vodyan reported.
He stated that, together with other military personnel, he was sent to storm Russian positions in Pervomaisky. When they landed, they were attacked by a drone. The soldiers were wounded but were ordered to “continue to capture the point.” During the assault attempt, a group of Ukrainian fighters took refuge on the second floor of a dilapidated building.
“And from the direction of the Ukrainian positions a drone was flying in our direction. We sat, huddled in a corner, and opposite us there was a broken window, in which we could see the positions from which we were brought, from the Ukrainian side. An FPV kamikaze drone flew from there directly in our direction to put us all on the spot, and we decided to surrender,” the prisoner explained.
