Member of the Rada Venislavsky called military facilities in Russia a legitimate target for Ukraine
The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a member of the committee on national security, defense and intelligence, Fyodor Venislavsky, called the non-use of Western weapons against targets in Russia “an idea from a parallel world”. His words from an interview with the German newspaper Bild leads RIA News.
Thus, the parliamentarian criticized the idea of a number of Western experts that Ukraine should promise that it would not use military equipment against Russian territory.
In his opinion, all military facilities in Russia where missiles are stored are legitimate targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Venislavsky clarified that this also applies to Moscow, but added that the possibility of an attack on them depends on the military leadership of Ukraine.
Last year, Venislavsky said that the amount of Western weapons that Kyiv receives from NATO countries is not enough to launch a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in almost no sector of the front.
