Ilya Kiva, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Opposition Platform – For Life, on his Facebook page suggested that in the fall of 2021, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy might lose his post.
The parliamentarian drew attention to the massive nature of the procession in Kiev in honor of the 1033th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus, organized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
“Remember those who came to the procession today, and most importantly – their number! It is these people who will come to demolish the criminal power of Zelensky this fall! ” – he wrote.
The politician believes that this procession can be considered a rehearsal of street protests in the country.
Earlier, on July 19, Kiva said that an era of “hunger and poverty” is entering the country. So he commented on the data of the UN Children’s Fund on the number of malnourished citizens in Ukraine.
According to UNICEF data, about 9.8 million Ukrainians experience food shortages, and more than 1 million residents of the country are forced to skip meals.
In April, the ex-Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov predicted that the country would face a serious socio-political crisis. According to him, 90% of Ukrainians will be below the poverty line.
