According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, an air raid alert was announced in the Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and Kyiv-controlled parts of the Kharkov region of the country.
The Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on this information.
The day before, on April 4, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region council, Nikolai Lukashuk, reported damage to an infrastructure facility, a gas pipeline and three power lines. Earlier that day, a fire broke out in the region. Equipment damage was also reported at one of the solar power plants.
Earlier, on April 3, the head of the local regional administration, Sergei Lysak, also reported damage to an infrastructure facility in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the Russian leader on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of an aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
