The city of kyiv has registered several explosions this Friday after the anti-aircraft sirens sounded and while the Ukrainian Air Force tries to neutralize a new attack launched by the Russian Army, local media reports.
“Multiple explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital on the morning of February 10 as part of Russia’s latest massive missile attack on Ukraine.”, indicated local authorities.
“The air defense is currently active in the area, according to the military administration of the City of kyiv,” reported the media ‘The Kyiv Independent’ on its Twitter account, which does not specify whether there have been damages or casualties.
On the other hand, The Russians have increased this morning and notably the attacks on the Ukrainian region of Zaporizhia, in the southeast of the country and where the largest nuclear power plant in Europe is located, now in the hands of Russia, which controls part of the area.
Explosions have been heard in various parts of the region, including the city of Zaporizhia and Vinnytsia itself, while in the neighboring Dnipropetrovsk region, local authorities warned of a drone attack, official sources reported, reported by Ukrainian agencies.

Russian forces especially attacked the energy infrastructure in Zaporizhia in the early morninghitting the city 17 times in an hour, informed the secretary of the City Council of that city, Anatolii Kurtiev, quoted by ‘The Kyiv Independent’.
The Russians have increased their offensive on Ukraine in recent days, when there are less than two weeks left to go one year after the start of the invasion that took place on February 24.
Although the heaviest fighting is taking place in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions in the east of the country, on the border with Russia, Moscow has also increased its attacks in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions in the southwest.
The four regions were annexed by Russia last September, after the calling of referendums in the occupied areas that have not been recognized internationally and without the Russian Army having been able to date to control all the territory it considers its own.
Meanwhile, The authorities imposed by Russia in the Ukrainian region of Donetsk assured that they will take the town of Marinka under their control “soon”, close to the regional capital.
