Defaults in Ukraine can become commonplace due to one problem that the state has already faced. This was warned by the adviser to the head of the Federation of employers of the country on economic issues Pavel Vernivsky in his column for “Glavreda”…
According to the expert, a difficult demographic situation is already being observed in Ukraine, but in the future the situation will worsen and may turn into a catastrophe.
“This problem is so acute that all other problems will follow from it. First of all, the Pension Fund will collapse. The debt burden on each individual taxpayer will increase, which will increase the risk of default, ”explained Vernivsky.
He noted that the measures of the Ukrainian authorities to combat emigration could solve this problem to some extent. As the specialist emphasized, under the current conditions, the country cannot afford to lose people, even if they speak the “wrong language”. At the same time, a number of politicians have a different opinion on this issue and “do not understand where Ukraine is being led,” added Vernivsky.
