A command of Chechens linked to leader Ramzan Kadyrov who had been given the task of “physically liquidating the leadership of Ukraine, including President Zelensky”, was “neutralized”. This is what the website of the newspaper Ukrayinska Pravda reports, citing Ukrainian intelligence sources, which reconstructs how in early February Vladimir Putin gave the Chechen leader the task of infiltrating his forces in Kiev to do “the dirtiest job”.
According to the newspaper, the Chechen commando suffered “heavy losses” in a fight that took place on February 26 in the area of Gostomel airport, near Kiev. According to the sources of the Ukrainian services cited, the action was possible thanks to a ‘tip’ arrived from an anonymous source who presented himself as an “officer of the Russian security services” who – the newspaper still reports – would be against the war and he wanted to prevent the killing of the Ukrainian leadership.
According to the newspaper, a commander of the Chechen forces near Kadyrov, Magomed Tushaev, was killed in the attack by the Ukrainian forces.
