Ukraine, man threatens to detonate a bomb in the seat of government
In Kiev, Ukraine, a man, whose identity is still unknown, barricaded himself in the seat of government and threatened to detonate a hand grenade.
The man broke into the building just a few minutes before the start of the meeting of the Council of Ministers: this is what the police announced, specifying that at the moment there is no certainty that the bomb is actually real.
“Negotiations are currently underway with the man,” the police said in a statement, while a source from the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said that the man could be a veteran of the Aidar volunteer battalion.
The entire neighborhood has been cordoned off by the police, while a video released on social media shows the man at the entrance to the building, holding what appears to be a bomb in his hand. “I won’t get out of here alive,” exclaims, among other things, the man in the film.
In the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, an unknown assailant (Telegram channels say he’s a veteran of the Nationalist Aidar Battalion) is threatening to detonate a GRENADE in the national cabinet building.
