Ukraine is ready to ensure movement along the humanitarian corridor from the city of Sumy to Poltava on March 8. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the country, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk, reports TASS.
Earlier, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that the country’s authorities are extremely interested in the work of humanitarian corridors. “This is necessary in the interests of our people,” he stressed.
The day before, Russia announced that from 10:00 Moscow time on March 8, a “silence regime” will begin for the exit of civilians from Kyiv, Kharkov, Chernigov, Sumy and Mariupol.
