According to the war report, five missiles were shot down and fragments of a sixth hit the compound of a military installation in the Bryansk border region.
“As a result, a fire broke out that was operationally extinguished. There are no deaths or injuries,” says the military statement published on Telegram.
The attack was carried out at 3:25 in the morning, “according to confirmed data, with the use of American-made ATACMS tactical missiles.”
The S-400 and Pantsir anti-aircraft batteries shot down five of the missiles, the statement said.
Previously, the Ukrainian General Staff had reported, without giving details of the weapons used, about a successful attack against a Russian Army arsenal in Bryansk.
