Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said that 77 ships loaded with grain are currently waiting in lines for inspection in Turkey.
“The grain initiative has been extended for 120 days, but Russia still has the tools to artificially limit its capabilities,” the Ukrainian news agency “Ukrainfoam” reported on Monday.
The Ukrainian minister said that due to Russia’s position, daily inspections are five times less than before, and the ports of the Odessa region use up to 50% of their capacity.
As a result, he added, Ukraine’s exports are expected to not exceed three million tons of grain in November. On the other hand, last October exports reached 4.3 million tons, and Ukraine was technically able to export six million tons per month.
