The British Minister of the Interior, Priti Patel, announced on Monday her departure from the Government, before Liz Truss takes office on Tuesday as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and appoint a new cabinet.

We can now attract the best and the brightest from around the world to the UK, rather than suffer the ill effects of uncontrolled freedom of movement,” he stressed.

Liz Truss, 47, becomes the third woman to hold this position in UK history.

Truss, appointed this Monday as leader of the Conservative Party and Johnson’s successor in Downing Street, has assured during the “Tories” primaries that her intention is to maintain the plan to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda, a program that is still under judicial review. .
