Community members of the University of the Americas Puebla (Udlap) requested the departure of elements of Public Security from the entity.
The demonstration began at the entrance to the Udlap del Periférico Ecológico and the Oriente de San Andrés Cholula. The contingent of students continued their protest on the 14 Oriente and reached the entrance of the José Gaos School, near the Temple of Pain stadium, home of the Aztecs of Udlap.
Cops out! Free Udlap! Udlap, free! Repressive government! These were other slogans expressed by the students during the protest.
In the manifesto read during the demonstration, Udlap students demanded the release of the facilities, the resumption of face-to-face classes for those who are about to finish their studies and the reactivation of administrative procedures.
“Let’s hope they listen to us, otherwise we will continue to demonstrate and take other measures, this is illegal, an outrage!” Said one of the students dissatisfied with the takeover of the Udlap facilities.
