Ubisoft does not want to miss the big week of the video game. After events such as Sony’s State of Play, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest and Microsoft’s recent Xbox Games Showcase, now it is the turn of the French multinational with its now traditional Ubisoft Forward presentation.
The Assassin’s Creed creators’ conference will be held in Los Angeles this Monday, June 10, at 9:00 p.m. (Peninsular time) and can be followed live from the company’s official channels on Twitch and on YouTube through the next video.
“This year the show will offer an exclusive look at Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin’s Creed Shadowsthe recently released XDefiant and much more,” states the press release sent by Ubisoft.
There is no doubt that the new game based on the galactic franchise will focus much of the attention. Star Wars Outlaws It will allow Ubisoft to transfer its dominance of open-world games to a franchise as well-known as the one created by George Lucas. It is expected on August 30 and is one of the company’s big bets to recover lost interest after recent years in which – with some exceptions – its quantity and quality of releases has decreased significantly.
Another highly anticipated title, obviously, is the new installment of Assassin’s CreedUbisoft’s most successful franchise, which in its new installment will take players to the historical era of feudal Japan. Development of the game is being led by the studio’s Quebec division (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey) and the truth is that everything shown so far has left a very satisfactory feeling among the community.
Beyond these titles, Ubisoft promises to announce news about its games currently in operation, such as the brand new XDefiant, Skull & Bones, The Crew Motorfest and Rainbow Six Siegebut what could truly spark interest would be finding out about some unannounced title or the return of abandoned franchises, such as Splinter Cell either Beyond Good & Evil.
