Ubisoft does not plan to organize events in June like the ones it held during theE3. A spokesman for the French company confirmed to Axios that this is not in their plans and that at the moment their idea is not to broadcast any events until the “end of this year”.
Ubisoft was one of the companies that traditionally organized their event on E3 dates. After the start of the pandemic and the cancellation of the Los Angeles show, the company kicked off Ubisoft Forward, a digital event that premiered in July 2020 and had two more editions in September 2020 and June. 2021.
Several sources, including insider Tom Henderson, said in March that Ubisoft was planning a major digital event for early June. Now, however, if these plans ever really existed, they have been shelved.
Although the company directed by Yves Guillemot has several titles to show, such as Skull & Bones, Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora or Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, others have not yet been officially announced, such as Assassin’s Creed Rift, The Crew 3, the sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising to name a few. In addition to this, for now, Ubisoft is not even listed among the partners who will be present at the Summer Game Fest.
